With FHA and VA loans being very popular loans in today’s market, many condo buyers are wondering how to discover if the condo complex is FHA or VA approved.  The process is fairly simple and there are websites to search if the condo complex is FHA or VA approved. Below are the links.

In reality, the buyers REALTOR and Loan Officer will be doing the research. However, if the buyer prefers researching for themselves, the aforementioned links are valuable tools.  Also keep in mind even though the condo complex is FHA or VA approved, it doesn’t mean that particular unit is automatically approved too.

As for a Single Family Home buyer with a FHA or VA loan, there is not a website to research whether the home is FHA or VA approved. FHA and VA requirements for single family residences rely on the condition of the home.
